Reliable hardened tie rods for the Yamaha
YXZ1000r are here! These tie rods are made
from 4140 grade steel as opposed to factory tie rods that are made of
aluminum. They will still bend long before you break a steering rack and won't strip the threads out of the factory steering rack like our competitions tie rods. Don't settle for heim-joint tie rods, they don't have nearly the motion range of ball and socket. That is why Yamaha designed it this way.
Many owners of these machines are finding out just how easy
the factory tie rods bend. Upgrade your YXZ1000r today and bent
tie rods on the trail will be a thing of the past. Each kit comes with
locking nuts, cotter pins and lockers for the inner tie rods as well
as inner and outer tie rods for both sides. These tie rods have been rigorously tested in the epicenter of UTV heaven - dunes, woods and rock approved. These can be used in
conjunction with stock tie rods.
